Biography
Nelson Cardoso was born in Ribeirão Preto, State of São Paulo, Brazil.
He lives and works in Portugal since 1979.
He had shows in Brazil, Germany, Japan and especially Portugal. Throughout his career he made 16 solo exhibitions and countless collective ones.
Nelson Cardoso has sold works to several international collectors, most notably to the Joe Berardo Collection, which then showed his works in the exhibition "The Collector’s Eye", Berardo Museum 2015 and more recently the Travessa da Ermida Collection, where held his last solo show in 2017. 2015 Instalation prize "VERA World Fine Art Festival", Lisbon. .
